Forensic Video Enhancement
Services
I am now offering
Forensic Video Enhancement Services to the law enforcement and legal
communities.
I utilize the same hardware and software that is
used by the Forensic Video Units of the major law enforcement agencies
throughout the nation. I am able to capture uncompressed video, this results in
no loss of information during the analysis process.
The following are typical applications of this
technology:
- De-Multiplexing
and Enhancement of tape-based or digital security camera videos.
- Enhancement
of the audio and video information contained on videotapes.
- Examination
of video tape in order to determine if it has been tampered with or
altered in any way.
- Production
of video for use in court: This can include adding titles and other
descriptive information, slowing down action, obscuring private or
irrelevant information, and editing out material that is not needed.
I apply the highest standards of forensic analysis
to this new state-of-the-art process. An important component of sound forensic
analysis is that each step in the process be documented clearly and in detail,
so that the analysis can be duplicated by other experts if needed as part of
the development of a case and its presentation in court.
Here are some examples of the techniques that can
be employed:

This process is rapid and the costs are quite
reasonable.
The final result can be provided to you as a still
image, a tape, a CD or a DVD. The original video is never altered in any way.
